Learn the real stuff...your first session is FREE...don't lose out!

If you have not done so already, please read this short essay: The Problems with Self-Defense Training and Teaching Methods (quick link)

Alright then, it has been shown and proven in real fighting contests like the Ultimate Fighting and Pride Fighting Championship that 95% of matches end up in a clinch and down on the ground.  It was also said that, "If you can't fight on the ground, you can't fight."
Grappling and Ground Fighting are two of the most important yet most neglected aspects of Self-Defense training.  Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was the first system of fighting that effectively addressed these two aspects and changed the approach to Martial Arts training in the world. For one simple reason, it works as advertised in no rules fighting competitions and on the streets for self-defense.

The Basic Strategy Of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu:

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu prefers to bring an opponent to the ground and rely on grappling techniques to subdue the opponent using holds, armlocks, chokes, leglocks, and strikes. This strategy takes away the advantage of an opponent with superior striking abilities.  It can also mitigate the advantage of a stronger and much larger opponent to rely on wrestling or grappling.1 (revised from bjj.org)

The problem is that it takes too long to learn the street fighting and self-defense aspects of the art because too much time in spent on learning sport competition techniques and strategies on how to beat other jiu-jitsu fighters.  Until now!

My philosophy and answer is to solve the problem of learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu outside of all the sport techniques and strategies that are useless in self-defense situations. In a short time, a person can learn effective and proven self-defense techniques from the art using the 3-7-5 System for Jiu-Jitsu from Brazil™ that will teach the essence of the art in one simple self-defense program or course.

Listen, I made it easy for you and ...

Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, and instructors across the country are adding Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to their school’s curriculum for a reason. They all know Jiu-Jitsu works!

So what does 3-7-5 means?

3: Three most important elements of Jiu-Jitsu to make it work for you.

7: Seven fundamental positions and concepts to win.

5:  Five simple lessons that are instructional and so much more.

Here are some of the featured concepts and techniques covered in the level 1 program:

* The psychology of "the sucker-punch" and how to defend it.

* Effective takedowns against a bigger & stronger opponent.

* Simple techniques & strategies on how to fight from your back on the ground.

* Escapes from headlocks standing and on the ground.

* Finishing holds, including chokes & armlocks to the control or end a threatening situation quickly & effortlessly.

All techniques do not require speed, strength or coordination.   Prior Martial Arts training is not required.

If you finish level 1, you're are going to be hooked just like many others that have taken this course.  Out of popular demand, I've continued the program to levels 2 & 3 with further information, techniques, concepts, positions and strategies.   _____________________________________________________

Here is one paragraph from the manual and strategy guide:

During a ground fight, the number one objective position to reach is the mounted position/back mount position.  One good reason is from here you can hit your opponent effectively and he can’t do so to you.  From the mounted position the basic strategy is to wear down the opponent by using your body weight and maintaining the position using your base.  Moreover, it is not always the wisest choice to hit your opponent with closed fist to the face right when you reach this mount because the opponent will use a lot of energy to escape.  Furthermore, punching with a closed fist is a good way to break your own hand on the top the opponent’s head.  Better options are to use open slaps, open hand palm strikes or elbow strikes: the elbow being the most effective.

Other elements to understand about the mounted position:

·        From the front mount, always try to make the opponent turn to his belly to work a choke from the back mount.

·        When attempting a submission hold, remember that holding a position is always better then losing the position if the opponent is starting to effectively escape i.e. going to an armlock and missing it only to end up in a poor position.  Better to stay of the top position and look from better choices in finishing holds.

·        Relax, stay loose, and have good base.

·        In real fights, a chokehold is always better than an armlock to finish.

·        Always use closed fists to the ribs when attempting to improve your mounted position.

·        When using effective head butts, it is better to turn your face to the side and use the side of your forehead to strike with.  Using the front of your forehead is a good way to break your own nose or hurt your eyes.
