Information about the Kids Revolution MMA Curriculum ™

Fun Eclectic Martial Arts classes for children integrating sport and self-defense techniques with conditioning, fitness, flexibility and skill oriented games.

The program is setup using 5 key components for success:

The kids program uses a mixed martial arts curriculum.  Classes incorporate the punching skills of boxing with the kicking skills of karate & kickboxing.  Prospective students are also instructed in the grappling skills of wrestling and the important self-defense & ground fighting techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  

Instructors unitize a safe and structured curriculum rewarding students with a realistic belt ranking system.  Students of the kids Mixed Martial Arts program have the opportunities to progress their skills from Jr. White Belt through Jr. Black Belt.

Jr. Belt Ranking System:

Here is The Bad News  And The Good News!
The bad news first.  After teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to children in Los Angles and Philadelphia for many years, "little" Tony noticed that the traditional belt ranking system of white belt, yellow, orange and green belt for students under 17 years old took extremely too long for monthly progress and positive reinforcement for kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes.  Students that reached yellow belt held this ranking for multiple years for example.

The good news.  With the development of the Kids Revolution MMA Curriculum ™, "little" Tony understood many of the short comings of teaching children Martial Arts without the benefits of showing progress, positive reinforcement and traditional Martial Arts structures.  He also knew with many new techniques to draw from in different Martial Arts disciplines, this met more to teach, happier students and a few more belts under a Jr. belt ranking system.  The idea is sound: holding an adult black belt is different than holding kid's Jr. black belt.  

Therefore, there are three important observations that need to be pointed out:  First, the Kids Revolution MMA Curriculum ™ uses a Jr. White Belt through Jr. Black Belt system; Second, all the Jr. belts have on them a blue patch that represents the Kids Revolution MMA Curriculum ™;  Third, the belt ranking system is much faster than traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu kids ranking, however, slower than modern karate belt ranking systems.  Hence, the curriculum & Jr. belt ranking is age-appropriate and reflects the skills learned in Mixed Martial Arts. 

Have what it takes?  Apply for an application to become a certified instructor.  Applications will be reviewed for basic requirements.  Notice will be given promptly.  If accepted, you can begin the certification process, which is a comprehensive instructional program and instructor certification training course.  In the event that you fail the certification course examination, you will be allow to attend free of charge the next certification program.  After recognized certification, you will receive a prestigious instructor's diploma.  We will provide extra support with detailed program curriculums, training manuals, school display products, on going marketing support and business coaching strategies for your market place.
