A Message From "little" Tony
Head Instructor
Founder of the
"At the Kindergarten ages between 5 -7, students need an instructor that is nurturing, and also a learning environment with a positive atmosphere."
Too often when a child between 5 through 7 years of age enters a Martial Arts school, he or she is placed in the main instructional classes with students of different abilities, sizes and mental know-how. Older students are grouped with others of the same age, while the little ones work hard to learn the basic skills having as much fun as possible.
In the effort to meet the demands of parents that really wish to see their children learn the basic skills, techniques and self-defense movements of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the fun kids' program called "Rio for Children" was created.
Belt Ranking System for Rio for Children: Ages 5 - 7 White (1-4 degrees) Grey (1-4 degrees)
