Short term goal is to reach blue belt...long term "Faixa Preta" black belt! How has Jiu-Jitsu affected your life? Jiu-Jitsu has improved my mindset. I enjoy the self-improvement aspects that jiu-jitsu training offers. All my life I enjoyed Martial Arts and wanted to train, and now jiu-jitsu has given me the opportunity to reach my personal goals. What advice would you give to someone who is interested in learning Jiu-Jitsu? Find the best atmosphere that you like being apart of. Also make sure your instructor is on the level and qualified! ------ Coaches Notes: Brian started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with background knowledge in Karate before coming the Revolution Academy. Now Brian has a lot of experience for a white belt student having traveled to California and competing in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship at the time of writing held in Long Beach for the 1st time. The "Blackshark" has had the experiences of winning 1st place and also being the runner-up. The the short term goal of blue belt should be right around the corner!
