In the effort develop a strong competition team and spread Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu's benefits to people willing learn, Julio Fernandez (Burlington, Vermont), Rodrigo Medeiros (Pacific Beach, CA.) and John Ouano (Santa Fe Springs, CA.) founded the BJJ Revolution Team (Carlson Gracie Team).
The BJJ Revolution Team is currently 2x US National Team Champions in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (2005 and 2006)!

If you are a school owner or instructor that wants to continue his or her Jiu Jitsu training under the guidance of a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, has the desire to teach & present Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to your students in a structured manner and simply wants to be affiliated with a top BJJ organization: Our Team Affiliation Program is for You! We welcome schools that have novice through advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Grappling programs, and schools that are currently involved in different styles of Martial Arts. The Team Affiliation Program provides the opportunity for your school to add new techniques to current adult and kid's curriculums. At the Revolution Academy of Martial Arts & Fitness or at your school’s location, we offer instructional: camps, seminars, workshops and private lessons. These services will increase your school's potential by offering a legitimate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Grappling program at your training facility. Last year, the BJJ Revolution Team finished 1st at the San Diego Open Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament. Just before this well respected finish, the team won the 2005 US National Championships. This year, the team repeated as US National Championships by winning the 2006 team title!
