Fighting Master's 2006 Instructor of the Year Rodrigo Medeiros has been studying submission arts since the age of five! One of the first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts to open a school on the West Coast, the decades-long member of the Carlson Gracie World Championship Team is known for his precise finishing techniques and for always going for the submission. In the 2004 Pan-Ams Rodrigo Medeiros confirmed his status as one of the best finishers in the game - he not only repeated as champion but did it in spectacular fashion with all wins by submission!
